My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET ROMEO! Are you looking for a dog to be your loyal companion and protector? If so, Romeo is your guy! He is a handsome 6-year-old male Black Mouth Cur, possibly mixed with Boxer. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be an awesome companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done well with other dogs, though has been leash reactive in the past. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. He is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! He will benefit from walks, hikes, and exercise, and people who understand his breed. Romeo weighs 74 lbs. Please email for an application.
