Meet Piper, a cat with a heart as big as her personality. She's friendly and independent, always ready to greet you with a purr but also content to have her own space. Piper has a goofy side that comes out once she's comfortable, making her a source of endless amusement. She might initially a bit shy, but with patience, she blossoms into a loving companion. Piper may do well with other cats, given a slow introduction. She is best suited for a home with older kids who can respect her boundaries. Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
