My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is our big baby Angus. He is a solid 110 pound Mastiff, which are by nature, gentle, loyal, and protective dogs. Angus is all that and a bag of chips. He loves to run, play, fetch, and chase. He loves to ride in the car with his head hanging out the window, does well at the dog park with other dogs and sees his foster kitties through a window and does not react to them either. The ideal home for Angus would have a fenced in yard, a big bed to share, and an adopter who has previous experience with large breed dogs. Because of Angus’s big solid frame, we are looking for a home without small children. He's house trained, neutered and up to date on his shots.

**Angus‘s adoption fee is $200. A home visit and vet references (or verification) are required.

Prior to meeting or adopting one of our wonderful dogs, we ask that you please fill out our online Dog Adoption Application on our website AAFlorida.org.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this dog or any others, you can contact us at  aaFlorida2@gmail.com.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any dog.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our sweet canines.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer organization saving lives in the Florida Panhandle through adoption, spay/neuter and TNR of community cats.

We are always in need of foster homes and volunteers. If you find a kitty or dog and are willing to foster it - we can help you find it a furever home. Can't foster or adopt right now, help socialize kittens. The more people the kittens are exposed to the better is for them. We can always use volunteers. Work from home, work directly with animals, or work non-directly with animals helping us raise money or distributing fliers.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE spay or neuter your pets! Escambia County pound puts down over 1,000 animals a month! Through spay/neuter we can reduce that number.
