My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Prince Yoti!

Prince was one of four shepherds roaming around the Salton Sea area. A kind neighbor took him and his family in to provide a safe space. Unfortunately, none of them had been handled and were pretty close to being feral. Rescue Lyfe from Palm Springs put out a plea for fosters to help socialize and we raised our hand.
Prince was untouchable at first, but that quickly subsided. He took some time to leash train (had never done it before, and was not too fond of collars either). He now walks on a loose leash. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccinations. He is also crate and potty trained. He is a giant goof, and has the most BEAUTIFUL eyes! Super dog friendly. He is shy towards new people, but very friendly once introduced. He is untested with small kiddos and cats, but should do fine with proper introductions.

More about this rescue

We aim to save shelter dogs from possible euthanasia. Dogs found in animal shelters always have behavioral issues. From excessive barking, leash reactivity, to nipping. We believe with the correct training program they will all improve greatly and there IS a forever home out there for them.
