My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ever wanted a labradoodle but don't want to go thru the puppy phase? Here's your chance!

We pulled Vinny hours before he was set to be euthanized in an overcrowded shelter in TX. He's a very sweet boy, very much your typical doodle and has lots of energy.

He loves everyone he meets. He plays well with other dogs after a proper introduction. He can be a bit timid of other dogs at first, but once he knows they won't hurt him, he's good to run and play! He is house and kennel trained. He loves treats, and food. He loves car rides, and is obsessed with overhead bridges and signs, and will tell you all about them.

He does have some leash reactivity that he is working on. Any potential adopter would need to continue to work on this with him if you plan to take walks.

His adoption fee is 400$. This covers cost of neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, 3 rounds of distemper/parvo vaccine, 2 rounds of leptospirosis vaccine, dewormer, bordetella vaccine, and flea/tick heartworm prevention.

More about this rescue

Our mission at ARF is to protect and advocate for animals in need; to build a humane community that promotes compassion and seeks to strengthen the human animal bond. We believe that no animal should endure the pain and suffering of a life of abandonment and neglect. We believe that through education, spaying and neutering, community outreach, and owner retention programs we can limit the overpopulation of animals and decrease the number of shelter animals in need. As human stewards of this Earth, we at ARF work to support and preserve precious life and strive to create a humane living environment for all animals.
