My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

courtesy post. Ljay and Dobbi Lab were left by their owner in December at boarding and never looked back. These two boys, Lab/Pit cross, have been waiting every day for their person to return, and every night they go to sleep with just each other for comfort. They deserve a home, not spending their days seeing other dogs go and come with their loving families, and yet they are just each other. Both dogs will be neutered & microchipped before going to a foster or adopter. Located in Rupert, Idaho, transport available within the Pacific Northwest. Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
