Checkout our American Wirehair kitten, Helena! Her coat is thick and coarse and her whiskers are short and curled. Her coat is now coming is so cute with waves/curls Helena is a baby, who will wrap herself around your neck and purr so loud. She is sweet and playful. She was a stray kitten rescued from outside and is available for adoption through Head Start Animal Rescue.

Prior to adoption, all animals are sterilized, tested for diseases, vaccinated, flea treated, and dewormed. The adopting party receives all paperwork of the animal’s prior medical care. All adoptable pets are fostered him homes with children and other feline companions, so our animals are use to busy households and every day commotions. They cannot wait to be loved by you and your family.

More about this rescue

Head Start Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in the Camden area of New Jersey. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care for the community cats residing inside of Camden and with providing owners with access to low-cost basic veterinary care. We rescue unwanted, abandoned, and homeless cats in the Camden, NJ area through networking with Camden City residents and feral cat colony feeders. We care for these cats and kittens in foster care until they find their forever home.
