Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jackie B is a tri-color, 2 year old, 17-pound girl with striking blue eyes and a very intense expression, but don't let her face fool you! She is a total cuddle bug! She came to us very skittish and wary, but decided we were safe in just one day and then just crawled into my lap and flipped over so I could pet her belly. She is still very wary of strangers, but with time and patience, she is slowly warming up to neighbors and family.
She has quickly adapted to being a member of our household, and loves joining us with whatever we're doing, whether that's going for walks, doing yardwork or watching TV. She loves destroying toys while I'm working and loves to play fetch! She gets along very well with both of my dogs and loves to play tug of war, but she has been scared by bigger dogs in my neighborhood. She gets very excited on walks and pulls, so she does need a harness to curb some of that exuberance!
She has some separation anxiety, so would do well in a household where someone was home with her most of the time. She seems to enjoy having my dogs to hang out with, but I think she would also do fine as an only dog because she wants all of the attention! She can be jealous, but she doesn't guard her food and has never been aggressive. She packs a very loud bark in her little body, and she and my dog always let me know if someone (or a squirrel!!) is walking by.
She is a very sweet girl who loves to be with her people and would make a great addition to the right household!

All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $400 plus MN sales tax. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives
