Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Curly!
A sweet and playful ten-year-old Pug from Glendale, AZ, whose heart is as golden as his fawn-colored coat.
Curly may be a senior, but don’t let his age fool you. This small, nine-pound bundle of joy has a zest for life that keeps him playful and active. He’s a fan of play wrestling and enjoys nothing more than a good tussle with his favorite stuffed animals! His medium energy level means he’s always up for some fun but also knows how to settle down and enjoy some quiet time.
Curly’s intelligence is impressive. He’s mastered commands like sit, ok, go, come, hungry, and outside. Though he hasn’t had formal obedience training, his keen mind and willingness to please make him a quick learner. This little guy is house-trained, neutered, and microchipped, making him the perfect addition to a loving home!
One of Curly’s most endearing traits is his deep sense of loyalty and love once he trusts you. It takes him a bit of time to warm up to new people, but with patience and gentle care, he will shower you with affection and become a constant companion! His ideal family will be one that understands the value of trust and is ready to offer a loving and caring environment.
Curly is good with other dogs, although he tends to be more neutral, neither seeking them out nor avoiding them. He also gets along with some cats but can be selective, so a gradual introduction would be best. His interactions with young children are positive, making him a suitable pet for families with kids.
Curly is not a fan of loud noises, which can cause him some anxiety. He enjoys a peaceful routine, with his meals served once a day around 6 PM. When left alone for short periods, he’s quite the nap enthusiast and will typically sleep until you return.
In search of a forever home, Curly needs a family that will appreciate his playful spirit and patient heart. Are you ready to welcome this loving Pug into your life and embark on a journey of companionship and joy?
If so, Curly is eagerly waiting to meet you and start a new adventure together! For more information or to adopt Curly, please contact us at adopt@joyfulpets.com!
