If you're working for home or just playing it safe by practicing social distancing, now is a perfect time to bring a new furry family member into the fold. Email us any questions about any cats we have and we will be happy to provide any additional information you may need. If you are approved for adoption, we are now doing curbside adoptions in order to minimize contact.
Ginger is estimated to be about 12 years old. She lived her entire life outside until she was brought into rescue at the end of May, 2024. She has had many litters of kittens but that has all changed now since she is now fully vetted and vaccinated and she won't have to worry about those things anymore. She may be 12, but she is great shape. Bloodwork was run and it is normal! Dental was complete with 11 extractions. She is feeling so much better! Ginger is adjusting well to the inside life. She's sweet and will need time to adjust in her home with patience while she learns to be brave and trust. She will require a home that can be careful with her by the door as she continues to adjust to the inside life. She has lived her life with multiple cats, and she chooses her own little space, in her bed, happy! She would be a wonderful addition to a quieter home. Adopt her today. Approved applications will be contacted within 48 hours
All of our cats have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, and tested for FIV/FeLV. Our adoption fee structure is as follows:
While we try to keep our animal listings up-to-date online, sometimes the age range may be labelled incorrectly. Please don't hesitate to contact us for the most up-to-date information on a particular cat. Our cats are shown by appointment - we are a foster based rescue and so we don't have a location with set hours.
If you are interested in adopting or would like to meet our cats, please fill out our adoption application online at www.safehousepets.org/info/adoption and a volunteer will contact you promptly.
