My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hibachi was brought into our care along with her 5 kittens after being illegally dumped and abandoned at our front door.
She has been such a sweetheart since coming in and has retired from motherhood and starting her search for her forever home!
Hibachi is a very shy girl at first but with patience and affection, she comes around rather quickly. She has a calmer and docile demeanor majority of the time but still won't turn down a quick play session!
She will need a very slow introduction to any resident pets as it can be hard for her to navigate her trust with unfamiliar animals.

If you are interested in meeting Hibachi, please submit an application at www.valleyanimal.org

At Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.

More about this shelter

Valley Animal Center houses thousands of dogs and cats annually until they are placed in loving homes. Majority of our shelter animals are rescued from local animal control agencies who have no more space for their animals. Even animals who have been abused, mistreated, abandoned, and injured are cared for and nurtured until a loving home is ready to adopt them.

We are easily accessible to the residents of the entire six-county region it serves. Even individuals from out of the area and out of state have come to Valley Animal Center to adopt animals from us and utilize our clinic services.

Our mission is to unite dogs and cat with loving people but it does not simply end at the adoption process. With our low-cost clinic, a membership-based dog park, and humane education resources found on our website, we want to ensure our community has easy access to resources that will help them along in their pet ownership journey.
