My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One of our volunteers has been spending time with our MOST SENIOR DOG named Martha, who came to us as a stray out of southern Idaho. It is time for her to find her a forever home. The volunteer took Martha on a special outing to Riverfront Park called Doggie Day Out. This outings are a great way to spend time out of the kennel and go to a fun and interesting place. Our volunteer said of the experience: Martha had such a great day! She walks so well on a leash and enjoyed the stimulation (wasn't bothered by noises, scooters, activity) and the beauty of the park (she took a dunk in the water). She was so well behaved and loved being greeted by adults as well as children. She knows "sit" and "down" and proudly did it for everyone. She adores praise and adoration. Martha does well in a crowd but would be just as happy connecting with that "one person". This volunteer also regularly takes her to a local park where they decompress under the shade of a tree and Martha observes the world. Martha would make a wonderful companion for a family or a single individual. Please come down and visit her today.
