Maddie is a petite, medium-haired beauty who is curious and playful. She enjoys a good nap (or several) on the top of the cat tree. She enjoys playing with other cats although she will likely need some slow introductions to any new cats. Maddie is adult, kid and dog friendly. She will cuddle or chill with you on the couch on her terms but generally is a pretty independent, calm girl. She enjoys being pet by her human but just as easily could do her own thing while you are working during the day. She would love to be in a home with another cat, especially her sister Mia who is also available for adoption. Maddie is vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.
Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. More about this rescue
We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
