My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Batman is a striking pittie boy with the coolest hazel eyes and a black and white coat. He also has the most adorable bat ears.

Batman is the sweetest boy who loves pets and treats. On his walks, he likes to take it slower and stop to sniff around. He has such a calm and cool demeanor, and really just likes to live in his own world.

Batman was found as a stray and deserves a home of his own. He is not a fan of other dogs (maybe because of his past), so he would have to be an only pet! Unfortunately, Batman has been overlooked because of his breed and intimidating features, but he is just an absolute sweetheart looking to find his people!

Batman’s exact age is unknown but he is young, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines!

Please inquire about a possible foster to adopt!

More about this shelter

Montclair Township Animal Shelter (MTAS) is a municipal shelter providing animal control services as well as sheltering lost, stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. All animals are cared for by a small team of staff and volunteers, and the animals that are available for adoption are promoted via social media and local events. We work with other rescue organizations to accept and transfer animals, on an individual basis, depending on what is best for the animals. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. In additional MTAS provides TNR services for Montclair & Nutley.
