My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally is a sweet, older pittie girl who has beautiful brown eyes and a white coat. She has one brindle ear and a matching spot near her tail. She absolutely loves people, but would prefer to be an only pet.

Don’t let Sally’s older age fool you, because she has a lot to offer! Sally eagerly awaits her walks, tapping her feet and wagging her tail when you approach her cage. Sally is housebroken, so she always does her business quickly on walks. She will occasionally sniff around, and walk very well on a leash. She also sits on command, and loves cookies!!!

Sally is up to date on vaccines, is spayed, and would love to be your new pal!

Please inquire about a possible foster to adopt!

More about this shelter

Montclair Township Animal Shelter (MTAS) is a municipal shelter providing animal control services as well as sheltering lost, stray, abandoned and unwanted animals. All animals are cared for by a small team of staff and volunteers, and the animals that are available for adoption are promoted via social media and local events. We work with other rescue organizations to accept and transfer animals, on an individual basis, depending on what is best for the animals. All dogs and cats are spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. In additional MTAS provides TNR services for Montclair & Nutley.
