Background:
CiCi just became available for adoption, but we've known her for a while. We helped her gain her hair and weight back when she came to the shelter in bad shape. Even though she had a rough beginning, it certainly doesn't weigh her down. She is a happy, sweet, and playful girl!

Personality:
CiCi is very intelligent and obedient, walking well on a leash and responding to basic commands. She is house trained and already knows commands like sit, paw, and down. She is playful and goofy, often getting the zoomies and tossing her toys in the air (see pics of her mid-zoom). She doesn't chew up her toys; instead, she loves to carry them around when she's excited. CiCi is affectionate and will even get on her hind legs to give you a proper hug. She loves leaning on you for pets and will sometimes give short barks when she sees people she likes.

Ideal Home:
CiCi would thrive in an active family that can take her on adventures and provide plenty of playtime. She loves to explore and would enjoy a home where she can go on regular outings. She has a thick, long coat, so regular brushing and grooming is a must. While she is generally good-natured, she doesn't like to share bones. She has not been dog tested, so we recommend scheduling a meet and great if your family already has a dog. From observing her at the shelter, she appears to like male dogs. We've caught her a few times trying to play with them through the fence.
