Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dennis - Our Longest Resident in Search of a Forever Home!
Hello, my name is Dennis! I'm an 11-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix, and I've been a part of the Conway Area Humane Society family since last November when a kind lady found me wandering as a stray. After a long battle with heartworm, I finally beat it and am now ready to find a place to call home!
I'm a sweet and affectionate gentleman who loves the little things in life - comfy beds, butt scratches, and going on sniffaris during walks. I'm fully housebroken and know my basic commands. I may be a senior, but I've still got plenty of love to give!
However, I have my quirks. I prefer to be the only dog in the house and would do best without cats. Because I can be a bit particular, a home without children under 12 would suit me best. I'm looking for a patient and understanding family who can give me the relaxed retirement I deserve.
If you think you could be the one to give me the loving home I've been waiting for, come visit me at CAHS! Let's make my golden years truly golden together.
