Those ears! Those eyes! That Hawthorne! This cattle mix pup is just over a year old and will make you smile or laugh out loud every day! Hawthorne has a true sense of humor and loves to play hide and seek. He’s always happy and would love to be the star of the dog park. Hawthorne loves just about everybody – except cats! He’s one of the smartest pooches in town and would do well with somebody who is active and has a good sense of humor.

Additional adoption info

People must come in for personal interview and complete adoption form. If renting, written permission from landlord is required. Adoption fee is $225. We require animals be returned to our facility if adoption does not work out. We require a signed agreement never to chain or crate an animal (crate exception for transport only). We DO NOT support crating! We follow up with phone call or home visit within first month. Adoptions are by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, call 231-944-6520. You must be 21 years or older to adopt.
