My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota (12 years, 29 lbs.) is a senior male dog with a gentle and affectionate nature. He is a friendly dog who loves to be around people. Given his gentle and affectionate nature, Dakota would be best suited to a quiet and calm household. He is a senior dog, and so he is looking for a home where he can enjoy her golden years being loved and cared for. If you think you could give Dakota the home he needs, she is waiting to meet you!

More about this shelter

We are a group of dedicated volunteers that worked for 6 years to raise enough money to build an animal shelter in a County in Georgia that did not have one. We are a 501c3 Non-profit organization. We operate primarily on donations and gifts.
We believe EVERY animal deserves a home. We do everything possible to make certain they have a second chance at a happy life with a family that will love and care for them.
The greatest reward for us is a happy ending, a smiling cat or dog that has found love and companionship and brought a ray of sunshine into a home.
