Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing our 4 yr. old boy Champ in hopes of finding him his forever home. His name describes his incredible personality. Champ has been diagnosed with heart mitral valve disease. (MVD is a polygenetic disease which statistics have shown may afflict over half of all cavaliers by age 5 years and nearly all cavaliers by age 10 years, should they survive that long.) He has been such a champ through all his veterinary appointments, and we all love him! One thing about Champ is that he LOVES his tennis ball! He can play for a while as he knows how to play fetch and it is his favorite way of interacting with his humans. He does not enjoy car rides and can become anxious, but we are working on it. He is also very communicative when he gets excited or wants you to continue petting him. He is such a cuddle buddy but he also snores ha-ha! We are in hopes of finding the perfect home that is willing to give him the love and care he so deserves. Our vet has cleared Champ to be neutered so we have his appointment coming up on June 20, 2024, and he will be ready for adoption a few days after so long as adopter is willing to continue his healing process. Typically, our adoption fees are a standard $1,500 but because of his circumstance I am willing to work with the right home as that is what's most important in the end. His adoption fee will be 100% tax deductible through our nonprofit organization and a donation receipt will be given to his adopted family. We offer out-of-state adoptions and can arrange transportation to your location, provided that the transport expenses are covered. The adoption fee for this adorable pup is $1500, which includes all veterinary costs, comprehensive care during his time with us, and ongoing training until he finds his forever home. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!
