Meet Lucky! Who doesn’t love a fuzzy, little low rider? Lucky is about a year old, 15 pounds and is a super mutt of some special kind. Maybe some long haired Chihuahua with the lead? We don’t really know, but he sure has the wavy golden locks of a Golden (insert a funny face here). Lucky is a little shy and submissive with a dash of new stuff is sometimes scary. Here’s the good news…he is young and curious and he will blossom into a loving and loyal companion. Patience is the key word here, because you only need to understand that he will bond with his person or people and once he trusts you (which, is quite fast actually), he’s a gem. It will take a few walks, naps on the couch, yummy food and snacks, a little bit of play time and his heart will be yours. Lucky will probably never be a happy go lucky kind with strangers, but he will seek affection and give kisses once he gets comfy. Lucky is pretty low energy but he absolutely enjoys his walks to stretch his little legs and enjoy some sniffs. He does like to play, but nothing over the top. Lucky is a very kind and chill dog, he just needs some time and understanding…once he figures out he is safe, he’s awesome.
Lucky has been exposed to an office lifestyle and he’s doing great being introduced to all different kinds of humans. Lucky loves other small dogs and big ones are cool too, just not big and crazy energy types. Some littles he quickly warms up to and tries to play and others, it takes a little bit of time, just depends on the vibe. Lucky will try to guard his person if given the opportunity, so you gotta stay tough and let him know who is in charge. Lucky will do best in a home where someone understands he is sensitive and needs to be supported by giving him strength and courage. You can’t baby a pooch like Lucky, you have to show him - everything is ok and WE can do this! Lucky is young and capable of learning that the world is not scary when surrounded by love and structure. Lucky is house, crate and leash trained. Those milestones are complete, now we just need to find his forever, is that you?
