My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Astrid may be a senior citizen, but someone forgot to tell her that! She has plenty of pep in her step and a playful streak a mile wide! This smarty pants knows lots of tricks, takes treats gently, and LOVES her humans. Here’s what one volunteer said about her:

“I met Astrid today and she is delightful! I found her to be an exceptionally lively, happy, playful, energetic girl with such a sweet attitude. She was immediately friendly towards me and got so excited to have human company - her tail never stopped wagging. She welcomed affection and gave plenty back. She was tolerant, well-behaved, and very smart - she really impressed me with her skills at sit, paw, down and stay. She was easy to leash up, handle, and walk. In the play yard she enjoyed running around, checking out the pool, and taking in the sights- but mostly she enjoyed staying close for a good tummy rub. This good girl has the perfect mix of a bouncy, enthusiastic puppy combined with the nice manners and easy-going behavior of a senior.”

Astrid spent a few days on an extended pawjama party and was well-behaved when left home alone, housebroken, and liked playing tug o’ war and chasing a ball. She was described as friendly and attentive.

“Astrid is a delight! She was excited to explore my home, waits nicely when I leash her up, and does well in the car.”

Astrid shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Ask to meet Astrid today!!
