My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET POPPY! Poppy is a spayed female mixed breed estimated to be about 2 years old and is only 35 pounds! Poppy’s current owner reached out to our rescue to help find her a home after a family member abandoned her at his home. Poppy is a very loving girl. She attaches herself to her owner and any other pup who will play with her. She also does well by herself. She loves to give and receive attention. Poppy knows basic commands, she is crate and house trained. Poppy is up to date with her vaccinations for her age, she is spayed and will be heartworm tested at her next appointment. If you are interested in adopting this sweet girl please go to our website and complete our adoption application. It can be found here www.fabsrescue.com/applications

More about this rescue

Furry Animals Being Saved Rescue, Inc. was founded by a dedicated woman committed to the mission of saving the lives of homeless dogs and cats. After getting knocked down several times in the rescue community she decided to branch off and create her own rescue so her mission will go on uninterrupted. FABS Rescue is a foster-based, non-breed specific rescue with an emphasis on the Chow Chow breed, a breed that is very misunderstood. We are based out of Northern Connecticut. FABS Rescue relies on the generosity of volunteers and donors to provide medical care, training, and daily care to dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. We are committed to helping one homeless shelter animal at a time. Please help us to fulfill our mission.
