Spirit Cat** Star is a 4 year old all black male with a patch of white is a spirit cat. He is looking to find a quiet home where he can sit by the window and watch the birds! He was part of a very large hoarding situation we were asked to help with. Unfortunately with many hoarding situations, when there are a large number of animals in the home, they do not get the proper socialization they should have gotten :( Although Star is currently not fond of people, being pet or being picked up, he LOVES other cats. Star is usually found snuggling and grooming other cats. Star also LOVES hard treats and squeeze up treats. You can put them right in front of him and he just waits patiently for you to leave so he can eat them all up! Star also LOVES playing with toys - the laser is his current favorite.

Spirit cats are not for everyone - they are very shy with people. They will live in your home, but are rarely seen. They are cats that live with you and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them...or, they may not. Spirit cats are great with other cats. They are also a great choice for people with a quiet household, who want to make a difference for an individual cat.

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped.

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Adoptions need to complete our adoption application and once received, our Adoption Counselor will call you to discuss your application to get to know you and your family. We will conduct a home visit and call your vet for a reference. Once you application is approved, you are able to meet the animal (s) you are interested in. If it's a match, you will need to sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
