My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Grayson was in the upper cubby looking at the assessor through the side door with large eyes, slightly sideways ears and lip licked. He allowed approach with treats and then allowed some petting and when approached in the cubby from the front he allowed more petting, and started to relax and despite some more lip licking and he lifted his chin for chin rubs. When pet along his back he followed with his head. He ignored squeeze up.

Grayson tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.

My foster writes:
Grayson is a sweetie pie who loves to snuggle up and get his head pet. While initially he may be shy once warmed up he is the sweetest boy ever who just wants to be pet and lounge about on the couch while you watch your shows or read. In the first week of fostering he opened up quickly to his new environment by coming out to explore each room on his own and lay in all three of our beds. His little pink nose and white socks are his absolute cutest features. He's also great at using his litter box and eats all his food every day. Hoping to find him a loving home!
