Hello world, my name is Piper and I'm a beautiful 2 and a half year old pit bull girl. I arrived at the Humane Society in June and I'm searching for my forever home. I am a little shy at first so I would love someone who can be patient with me and give me some time to open up. I enjoy napping in my blankets and stealing treats when I get the chance (hehe). The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.
