My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My Adoption Fee is Waived!

Morgan is an incredibly sweet, gentle giant. Morgan has a very calming presence overall, making him a perfect dog since he doesn’t bark or jump on people or react negatively around other animals. He enjoys sticking his head out the window during car rides, napping in cozy places, receiving hugs and pets, attentively shadowing any human currently paying him attention, and is happy to meet kids and all people. He is known for his characteristic Morgan smile and wagging tail, and his eyes that exude a human-like level of awareness and empathy.

Morgan had surgery on one of his rear hip this fall (generously funded by Bradshaw TEAM), and is continuing to recover his mobility. Physical therapy is still needed as he continues to get stronger. He spent his time prior to and following his surgery with foster parents.

Foster parents note: Morgan enjoys a good sunbathe on the grass while foster parents do yard work. He likes to sit on the kitchen floor while food is being prepared, probably hoping to get in a few snacks. You want a good laugh? Morgan makes funny old man grunting noises when he doesn`t get his way but will still listen to your commands. BEST OF ALL, Morgan can co-exist with cats (he basically just ignores them). Foster parents have 3 cats and each has interacted with him. Morgan is attached to people, and would do best in a home with someone who can spend most days with him.
