This helps Second Chances Animal Rescue - VT transport with pet care costs.
*Due to state laws regarding out of state adoptions, we cannot adopt to families in Massachusetts or Rhode Island.*
Cornbread Fred is a 5 month old male lab mix. He once stole an entire pan of cornbread from the table and ate it in record time. He loves to cruise the kitchen in hopes of finding snacks or a kind grandmother that will sneak him a biscuit.
Listed breed is an educated guess made by our veterinarian and is NOT a guarantee - this also means we have no way of knowing what a puppy's adult size will be.
This dog is currently being fostered in Mississippi and will be transported via Barton's Barkers transport services upon adoption. Their adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, a nose to tail vet check, microchip and transport costs. Second Chances lists dogs as being available in White River Junction, VT because we transport our dogs to the area every 3rd week after they have been adopted. All of our local shelters have a high euthanasia rate due to overpopulation so we created our rescue group to primarily adopt to the northern states to help keep as many dogs as we can from entering our kill shelters.
