My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This total love bug is looking for a forever family that ideally has no other dogs (or cats) or a small mellow pup for her to befriend and a fenced in yard. The fenced yard is not required, but this girl LOVES the freedom to run and play in a yard and you will get extra bonus points if you have a hose for her to play with! Luna LOVES  water and is the perfect adventure buddy.

Luna is much smaller than she appears in photos and is quite petite at only 41 pounds!

This playful, spunky, loving, 4 yr old lab mix has been waiting for her forever home for over a year and we are just so shocked! She LOVES people and is a wonderful companion. She adores water and playing in the hose, is great at bath time, never begs for food (even if you are right next to her), and is fully vetted. She was rescued from a hoarding case and unfortunately can be reactive to new pups especially on leash, but is better at introductions off leash.

Luna does great in a car and is always really great at meeting brand new people- she just wants to give and receive love and is so excited to meet her forever family as soon as possible. Her family will be extremely lucky to call Luna theirs furever!

Luna can’t wait to meet you!

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats come spayed/neutered and vaccinated! Some of the pups will only have their first round of shots and may need rabies if they are under 3 months old. But other than that, these babies come ready to go! Our adoption fees vary, please inquire about each dog's individual fees. We do have cats and kittens available from time to time, so please inquire if you are looking for a feline pal! With their vetting, flights and care, we only ask for the adoption donation to help offset costs and make sure our adopters are serious. We love our rescues like we love our family. They mean the world to us and we just want to see them in good loving homes! And please check back as we are always adding new rescues to this page.

More about this rescue

We approach each every situation with an open mind. We work to build respect and trust with the partners, communities and countries we work in. With their acceptance, we build a plan together to meet the most pressing issues. We listen, learn and solve the needs together. We look for solutions that are integrated, scale-able, and sustainable. At Compassion Kind, we work with governments, institutions, local leaders, civil society organizations, foundations and businesses around the world to ensure that the most vulnerable beings are heard, and that they get the assistance they need to sustain from within the communities. Our teams and partners advocate for capacity building training and grass roots techniques so we make a lasting impact, create measurable change and operate as efficiently as possible.
