My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Brody!

I'm a 1 year and 8 months old, Labrador & shepherd mix. I'm neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative, and up to date on all my vaccines. I'm a mix of sweet, goofy, playful, shy, energetic, friendly, smart, and curious. One minute, I'm chasing my tail, the next I'm sniffing out a hidden treat. I'm a little shy when we first meet, but give me a moment and I'll be your best friend.  I'm not crazy about cats, as they frighten me, but I do have dog friends, both male and female. I'm smart too, I've mastered 'sit', 'stay', and 'paw'. I'm always curious about the world around me, always ready for the next adventure. I don't even mind dressing up for any occasion! My ideal home would could be chill, not too overstimulating, with walks or hikes to new places.

My big seal pup eyes are full of love and longing for a forever home. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and endless love, I'm your guy.  Adopt me, or foster me, let's make wonderful memories together.

Brody is located in Fayetteville, NC  while waiting to leave for his forever home  Brody is neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed & also microchipped. His microchip will be registered to his new adopter at no additional cost.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We require every adopter fill out an adoption application. After the application is reviewed, reference & vet checked, home visit completed and you have been approved, we then will accept a deposit on the dog of your choice and we do require the balance of the donation be paid prior to transport or 48 hours prior to delivery. All our animals are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay or neutered, microchipped and the microchip already registered to the adopter at time of delivery. Our belief in Heartworm Prevention is so essential to our dogs leading long, healthy and happy lives that we provide a years worth with each dog that is adopted and urge our adopters to get more for future years from us for a small $15 donation to the rescue to help cover costs of the preventative.

Adoption Donations:
$295 Adult Dogs
$395 Puppies
$200 Special Need Dogs

Go meet their pets

All of our animals are in foster homes. Once the application process has been completed, a meet and greet can be scheduled. Depending on the dogs first meet, we may schedule a second greet. We provide all adopters our version of “The two week Shutdown” which we stress and urge our adopters to follow.

More about this rescue

Mission Statement:
The purpose for which this corporation was formed is to provide animals that would otherwise be euthanized a chance at a full and happy life. We rescue animals from high kill shelters in the South, strays and owner surrenders when fosters are available. It is our intent that these animals be rehabilitated both physically and mentally, shown love and compassion, and then be found their forever homes. We are also dedicated to educating the public on the need for proper care for all animals, including but not limited to spay/neuter, vaccines & heartworm prevention. We believe in giving a helping hand and have had only positive Community Outreach outcomes.
