Well if this is the way (the) COOKIE crumbles...we're all in! We've been waiting to introduce you to this striking young mama. It's hard to believe she came all the way from Alabama with a belly bigger than she was - and there will be many little cookies for you to meet when they're ready. Well loved in a home full of cats, Paws Crossed was only one of the many rescues involved in helping get all the resident cats to safety. One look tells you this is an extraordinary girl. With huge, expressive eyes that would make Betty Boop a little envious, the cantaloupe swoosh on her nose is exotic. But what's most remarkable about Cookie is her easy, gentle presence. A more devoted mom to her (6) kittens you won't find - but you'd be hard-pressed to find a sweeter soul or a companion with such a pure and giving heart.

At Paws Crossed, we believe that our mission is best fulfilled through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, advocacy, collaboration and education.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
