My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Digger is a petite, 4 yr old female pit mix that came to us from TX. We think she could have some Jack Russell in her too! Originally found roaming in southern Texas , this girl lived in an outside kennel for several months in southern TX.  She is so happy to now be in a foster home. She is housebroken and happy to hang out on a dog bed while her foster parents work.  She loves squeaky toys and napping. She needs to be the only pet in the home.

Digger is being fostered in Southern CT.

More about this rescue

Our shelters are full of pit bull type dogs. This is largely due to over breeding and public hysteria driven by the media. We are committed to helping the pit bull dog by rescuing pit bulls from shelters, controlling over population through spay & neuter, and assisting pit bull owners so they can keep their family pets. We are 501c3 approved! All of our dogs live in loving foster homes until which time they find their families!
