My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chargie is a high energy girl that is ready to leave the center and head out on an adventure with you. She is good with people, but would prefer to pick her own canine friends. She would also be ok to be the only dog in the house. She will need an active family willing to provide training.  Check out her new video on our Facebook page! This high-spirited gal is sure to fit in at your house and show you her unconditional love!

More about this shelter

We work with our local Police Department who runs the local City shelter as a 'holding' facility to get adoptable animals out before put down if not claimed. We do fund raisers and donations as we are a complete volunteer organizations in need of volunteers to help at the shelter and with events and of course, to foster.
