Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**JAKE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Tiny, adorable, scruffy little Jake is an 8-month-old, 9-pound puppy mill rescue searching for his happily ever after. Discarded and unwanted when he did not sell as a younger puppy, his luck changed when he arrived at Pal's Place, and we promised this sensitive fella that he's only going to know love and care from now on. Given his past, he is understandably shy and cautious when meeting new people and in new environments, but he's making strides in his foster home and learning all about what it means to be a loved companion. While it might take him a while to warm up to you, he is a very affectionate dog with a lot of love to give. We guarantee the little extra bit of patience and understanding he'll need to adjust to a new home will be all worth it when he blossoms into the more confident, social dog we know he is inside! Jake does well with cats and other dogs, and we feel he'd do best in a home with at least one other social dog to show him the ropes and help boost his confidence. He is crate-trained and doing well with housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Jake's ideal guardians should be patient and understanding of his background and be prepared to give him all the time and love he'll need to adjust to a new home. Due to his timid nature and small size, he is not a good match for a home with very young children. A securely fenced yard is also required for Jake. Jake is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee to the rescue is $500. He's ready and anxious to begin his new life as a much-loved and cherished companion. If you can provide Jake with all he needs to thrive, please contact us today! He is being fostered in Lake Geneva, WI, and can be seen by appointment once an application has been submitted to the rescue. You can complete our adoption application online at palsplacerescue.org/adopt/
For more information, you can email palsplace1@hotmail.com or reach out directly to his foster mom, Sandi, at (773) 991-4004
