My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kingston KW came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet & happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 02/14/21 and he currently weighs 58#. We are guessing at his breed makeup.
He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is also heart worm negative. He is positive for ehrlichia from being bitten by tick, but has no symptoms. He has been on 30 days of doxyclycline antibiotic as a preventative.
His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.

A phone interview with an adoption coordinator is required.

Meet the Pet

If approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet the pet. If everything goes well, you will be able to take them home the same day

We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, certified check, money order and debit/credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).

3 references and a vet reference is required. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is also required.
