My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rifle Rodney came to us from a home who could not keep him by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people and other dogs. His birth date is 10/28/17 and he currently weighs 50#. He is very sweet guy who needs a little confidence with new people. He has a lot of energy and needs a home that will have time to exercise him. He likes to play! This boy will not go with children and needs a structured routine with feeding and exercise. He will not be placed with cats as he would probably hurt one if it ran/moved too fast. He was reported as & seems to be house trained. He rides very well in a car.

He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He also tested heart worm negative.

His adoption donation is $200 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.

Submit an initial inquiry on the pet you are interested in.

Interview

A phone interview with an adoption coordinator is required.

Meet the Pet

If approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet the pet. If everything goes well, you will be able to take them home the same day

We do NOT accept personal checks. We accept cash, certified check, money order and debit/credit cards (with a 3% processing fee).

3 references and a vet reference is required. If you do not own your home, landlord approval is also required.

We are a volunteer operated non profit dog rescue located in Northern Indiana. We are a NO KILL rescue with a mission to spay or neuter every dog that comes through our rescue. Our mission is a direct response to counteract the overpopulation of unwanted dogs.
