My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Peaches!

This beautiful dilute tortie girl was mom to our fruit litter kittens. She is FIV positive but can still live safely with other cats. This is only spread through deep bites and she is not a fighter at all.

Peaches, like many cats, has a sad story. She was living outside as a colony cat but not feral. Someone didn't like the cats outside and poisoned the colony leaving only Peaches and two others surviving.

Peaches was very pregnant and we were asked if we could take her into the rescue. She was a wonderful mom and raised her babies well.

Peaches is currently being fostered with Ivonne who is patiently showing her love. She seems to be responding well and we want to find her a home where she is inside, safe, and loved. Returning Peaches to where she came from is not an option and we want way better for her!

More about this rescue

Five Friends Animal Rescue, Inc. is a foster-based animal welfare organization of volunteers dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters, strays, and owner surrenders. We provide these animals with care and temporary homes until we can place them into their permanent homes. We also serve as a resource to our community by providing information on pet ownership, including resources for spay/neuter and positive behavior training. We believe that no animal should be mistreated and are working towards the day when no companion animal is euthanized for lack of a home.
