My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lainey is a 1yr happy go lucky girl that loves to cuddle. She is a low to medium energy dog who is happiest with her people or person. She is completly housebroken, crate trained and is working on her leash manners. As per a professional dog trainer, Lainey is extremly food motivated and learns quickly with eagerness to please. She has yet to find a person she doesnt love or want pets from but she is pretty dog selective so she will do best as an only dog at this time. Lainey was fostered with cats but really enjoyed the chase which the cats did not enjoy.

She is happiest laying in the sun with her person, getting belly scratches and playing with her stuffed toys. Lainey is so deserving of her forever family. Put in an application @ Pawsacrosspittsburgh.com so you can meet this special lady and potentially be her forever family.

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
