Hi! My name is Nala and I’m a year old tabby with light fur and beautiful bright eyes! I was rescued from the rough conditions outside with my sister and best friend Nellie. Nellie typically takes the lead since I’m a little more apprehensive and scared but I will always follow her lead! At first I just like to be seen from a short distance so you can admire my beautiful coat and eyes but will soon join you on the couch or at the foot of your bed if you want me too, especially if you have treats! I will need some time to get adjusted to my new family and other pets but I am full of love once you get to know me. Since I have never been away from my sister Nellie, I will need to be adopted with her so she can show me the ropes in our new forever home, which we hope is with you!All I need is some love and patience and I can’t wait to show you my true loving and playful personality!

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
