Hello, may name is Stormy. The people who helped get me to Paws say I was born on their roof. When there was a heavy storm I washed down their gutters and survived. After a year of living outdoors, I find being inside is much better for me. I am very shy though, loud noises and sudden movements scare me and it takes time to gain my trust. Once I do trust you though I love to have my belly pet, to play, oh and I love kitty treats of all kinds. I have lots of love to give, I just need a quiet home and patience for me to come around. I even get along well with other cats. Are we a good fit?

Everyone MUST submit an application to be considered for adoption

Interview

We will talk to you and your references to get a feel of what you're looking for in a pet and if the particular pet would be a good fit

Home Check

This is required. We want to see where the pet will be living and it gives us an opportunity to meet you!

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be arranged after you have been approved as an applicant

Pay Fee

More about this rescue

Paws Across Pittsburgh is a 501(c)(3), foster based, non-profit animal rescue located in the Pgh area. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, abused and/or unwanted dogs and cats.

We are run solely by volunteers with the goal of providing vet care, socialization skills and nutritional needs while living in a loving foster home. All animals that enter into the rescue will receive appropriate vet care, spay/neuter, vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Our goal is to assure a loving, forever home for each one of our animals. Paws Across Pittsburgh strongly believes in Force Free training methods for our animals.
