This Peaches and Cream colored darling is the sweetest 5-year-old girl, who is very houstrained and sweet with people and good on a leash. She has a neurological condition that affects her back legs, but this beautiful girl gets around just fine. She is very active, just probably not the dog for you if you are looking for a marathon training buddy:)
This girl is cuddly and affectionate as soon as she warms up to you! She would be a great fit as the only dog in your life, and is good with kiddos and a great medium size for an apartment or home with a yard.
Are you looking for a sweet pup in your life? Peaches is your girl!

Our shelter has more than 500 available cats and dogs every day! For pets at the shelter: Adoptions must be completed in-person at the shelter. AAC is open for adoption walk-ins every day from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. A shelter pet’s availability can change at any time, so we recommend choosing a few favorites. For pets in foster: Go to www.AustinAnimalCenter.org to find the pet's profile and click that pet's pink “Adopt Me” button. This will prompt you to complete an adoption questionnaire. Submitting an application does not hold the animal for you.
We have dozens of animals that won't be listed online yet because they're still in their stray hold period, but can be pre-adopted at the shelter in case their owner doesn't come for them.
Adoption Fees:
$80 cats & kittens up to 6 years old
$80 dogs 6 months to 6 years, 30 lbs and up
$100 dogs under 30 lbs and/or under 6 months
$30 small animals
No fee for senior pets 7 years and older
