Boots is a sweet, snuggly boy who needs a child-free, pet-free home. We adopted him in early 2021 when he was about 3 years old. Bringing him home to our current cats and young children created a stressful environment for him to where he eventually ended up living exclusively in our primary bedroom. We've tried many techniques to help him feel more comfortable but in the 3 years since he joined our family nothing seems to have stuck in easing his anxieties. He never instigates a fight with another cat nor does he ever hurt either of our children. He's incredibly gentle and loving and finding a new home for him comes with great difficulty and heartache. We love Boots. We love how playful and cuddly he is. We love how patient he is. But he doesn't feel comfortable leaving our bedroom for any extended period of time leading him to a day in/day out routine of loneliness. He wants to be a lap cat. He just needs that from a safe, loving home that doesn't have small children or other cats.
