Onyx is a very energetic pup with a personality out of this world. He’s 11 months old with his birthday coming up June 2nd. He loves to play and is always open to making new pup friends. He loves going for long walks and enjoying nature to the fullest. He is still working on leash reactivity. He’s not a big fan of car rides though, almost every time he will sit/lay quietly until the car stops moving. He is trained to use the bathroom outside and will hold it until you take him out. Occasionally he will have accidents in the house if he really has to go. Like all young pups, he can’t be trusted to be left alone. He will chew on anything he can get a hold of. We are currently still working on him being left alone. He will sleep through the night in his cage and you don’t have to lock him up. He loves playing with his toys and is very treat motivated. He has a few tricks up his sleeves but will only listen if you have a treat. He can be very silly sometimes. To sum it all up, he’s just a great dog to have as a furry friend.
ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
