Dill (aka Angus)is a super sweet boy, who loves cuddles. He is super chill and also loves playing with his toys.
His perfect day starts with some cuddles in bed (he sleeps on his own bed on the floor but in the morning he cannot wait to give you kisses and hugs), after that, he gets so excited for breakfast and he will run to his crate and do a little dance while he waits for it to be ready. After his breakfast and some snuggles, he loves to go on a short walk and do his business outside.
He would ideally spend the day snuggling and playing with his toys but otherwise, he will spend it napping until his people get back home. He loves an afternoon walk, more snuggles and then he's ready for dinner. His evenings are best spent with a toy, he loves to play on his own as well as fetch, a quick bathroom break and then sleeps all through the night <3
Nothing seems to bother this guy, not loud sounds, teenagers, or vacuums. He's calm around new people and has generally just made himself at home.
Personality & Characteristics:
My foster dog is good with: Dogs
He is great with small dogs, he is super gentle and doesn't bother them if they don't want to play!
My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed) He has been napping and sleeping in his crate. He had a couple of accidents his first couple of days but after that he hasn't had a single one. He really doesn't shed much at all.
3 Keywords for your pup: Sweet, handsome, cuddly.
Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy):5
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: he almost doesn't bark at all
Walking Manners: He is super good on the leash but will pull if he really needs to pee or poop until he finds his spot haha. He is not really reactive but is selective when meeting new dogs.
Appetite: He's a good eater but does not beg for food, loves treats and is very food-motivated.
Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above) He was fine in the car and tolerated his bath well, has a bit on anxiety when left in the crate but he stays in our spare room and just sleeps when we go out.
Favorite Things: being outside, bully sticks, his toys and his people
Commands/Tricks: Come, Sit, Paw and working on Spin! Very treat motivated and very smart!!
ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
