My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cole is a sweet, playful cat who loves people. His favorite pastime is receiving love and attention from our staff and volunteers, and he has a knack for making everyone around him smile. Cole has tested positive for both Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). This means his immune system is compromised, so he needs a bit more care and attention than your average cat. He cannot socialize with other cats due to his condition, so his days are generally spent enjoying the peace and sunshine on our cat porch during the day. Cole is looking for a loving family who can provide him with the special care he needs. His new home should be one where he can be the only cat, ensuring he stays healthy and happy. Families who are experienced with or willing to learn about FeLV and FIV are ideal. Our shelter staff is more than happy to provide all the information and support you need to ensure Cole thrives in his new home. Cole's condition may seem
daunting, but he is a resilient little guy with a lot of love to give. Adopting Cole means offering a second chance to a cat who has so much to offer despite his health challenges. He will reward your kindness with endless purrs, playful antics, and a loyal companionship that will warm your heart every day.
