Hi, I'm Amy! I'm nine years old and likely a Staffordshire Terrier. I'm a happy girl with pretty green eyes and a lot of love to give.

I'm spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. I'm also food-driven and easily trainable, and I love positive praise to let me know I'm a good girl. My previous owners taught me commands like sit, stay, lay down, gentle, roll over, play dead, kennel, and even “flip” (jump 180 degrees). I’ve also been trained to find our pet tortoise, who I would cuddle with.

I've lived with kids and other pets before, and I enjoy playing and cuddling with other big dogs and humans. I haven't lived with a cat, so I'm not sure how I’d react, especially since I like chasing bunnies out of the yard.

I'm house-trained and have used a doggie door to go outside and bask in the sun, which is my favorite place to be. Being a bit more mature, I have a good balance of energy and calm. I'm a great hiking partner and love long walks and camping, but I'm also happy to cuddle up on a blanket inside. I'm kennel-trained and feel comfortable there too!
