Benji is learning how to be a member of a household with a human and 2 other dogs that he gets along with very well. He’s a smart boy who’s working hard on learning manners and he’s eager to please his people. He will bark or ‘ring’ the bells on the door when he wants to go out. In his foster home, he is often called ‘Albus’ because he seems like an old soul with a bit of a silly side. He likes to be wherever the people are, and although he might initially come across as a bit reserved, Benji will soon ask for attention, and he absolutely loves getting face and head scratches.

This sweet boy also enjoys running around the yard and playing chase with the other playful dog in the home. Benji would really like to play with the little 10 lb. dog that he’s living with, but since he’s about 6x her size, her response is a vicious snarl as she rudely tells him to back off. One of the best things about Benji is that even when the small dog is snarky with him, he does not have an aggressive response… he just seems disappointed and confused as to why she doesn’t want to play!
