Say hello to the one and only Minerva! This lively 1.5-year-old Border Collie mix is all set for the grand adventures of the good life. Minerva has made friends with other dogs and loves playing and romping around the yard. She loves playing tug and chewing on bones and soft toys. Minerva sleeps through the night in her crate, although she would be more than happy to cuddle in bed with you all night long. When given the chance, she has made a great sleepy buddy. Car rides are her jam and she makes a terrific passenger. If she had her way, she would go on all the car rides!

Minerva likes a nice quiet house as she’s more on the shy side. She loves to hang out near you during the day while you work from home or keep you company while you sit and relax. A dog friend in the house makes her braver and she loves a four-legged wrestling partner. But she could be happy just being around her special person as well. She’s always ready for a walk and does well on a leash. She is very interested in tracking field mice and lizards during walks and her special skill is to jump in the air like a fox to pounce on a field mouse. Minerva knows sit, lay, paw and to wait to be released for her food. She is treat motivated and ready to learn new skills.

As Minerva's trust in her foster family deepens, so does her affectionate side, overflowing with attention and love. She needs a little time to develop this trust and then she will reward you deeply. Minerva is calm, well behaved, and house trained.
