Meet Scooter, an adult male with a distinguished face and an extra-long tail. Scooter is an interior designer at heart, rearranging bathroom mats daily to fit his taste. Playful and active, he loves running around and playing with wand toys, and is more playful than the resident cat in his foster home. Scooter is mostly a floor cat but occasionally sneaks onto the bed, getting embarrassed if caught. His love language is quality time over physical touch. Scooter thrives in a home with other cats, being sociable and calm around his feline friends. Initially shy, Scooter warms up with deliberate attention and playtime, offering trust and loyalty that will make your heart swell. Scooter is FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with vaccinations, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. His birthday is estimated to be around 3/28/2017.

We'll have a conversation to find out what kind of pet you are looking for and help you pick someone who will fit with your lifestyle!

Meet the Pet

By-appointment and virtual meet and greets are made with our adoption counselors to meet the cat(s) you are interested in!

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

We go over medical information and the adoption contract over the phone. The contract is signed virtually and adoption appointment is set.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Set up everything at home, and bring the adoption donation and a carrier - it's adoption day!

Milltown Adoption Center is open to the public Wed + Fri from 5 - 7 and Sat + Sun from 12 - 4. Private appointments available for approved adopters.

More about this rescue

The mission of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
