My name is Athena!

We saved Athena from a rescue center about a year and a half ago. She is a great dog but has very bad anxiety and doesn’t like to do a lot of things unless the one person she feels safe around is home and she will be very clingy to that person. We believe she may have been abused before we got her. She’s a very good dog, she’s good with cats and children as we have both. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. She might even run away from an ant if she saw one. She’s harmless but needs care that we can no longer give her. She’s not a very active dog at all. She almost hates going outside. So most times she will just lay there. She is house trained and crate trained. Me and my wife have recently started working a lot more hours and don’t want to just leave her home alone all the time. She needs comfort and love. She won’t be the dog for you if you’re looking for a lot of energy. She will just lay with you and enjoy your time.
